An opportunity to develop Underground Trackless Mobile Machinery is being offered by the De Beers, Venetia Mine, and the company is soliciting applications from young people who are currently without work in the labor sending area.
COURSES:
- Competency B Skills Programme
- Underground Trackless Machinery Skills Programme
- 24 months occupational directed qualification
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are required to be citizens of the Republic of South Africa and to live in either the Blouberg or Musina Municipalities, which are designated as labor sending areas.
Certificate of Completion of Grade 12
Required to Hold a Valid National Driver’s License
Get a passing score on the Dover test.
Take and Pass the Heat Tolerance Test
In order to be considered for the program, you are required to send in the following documents:
Include in your cover letter the reasons you believe you should be considered for the program.
A copy of the identification document that has been officially certified.
Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Official copy of the School Qualification (Certificate of Completion of Grade 12)
Official copy of driver’s license bearing the number 10/C1
Documentation to establish one’s residency
Applicants shouldn’t be involved in any other programs at the same time.
PLEASE NOTE:
Citizens of the Republic of South Africa, particularly those who are residents of the surrounding communities, are given hiring priority.
Candidates need to live in either the Blouberg or Musina Municipality’s labor sending area to be considered.
Proof of residency is required from all applicants.
