Job Description

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Artisan within the Trade division at Winterton, KZN.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Inspect and assess outdoor power products for issues and defects
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the best course of action for repair
• Perform repairs and adjustments on lawnmowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, etc. to ensure they are functioning properly
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to prevent future issues
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure it is working correctly
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
• Provide guidance and advice to customers on how to properly maintain their equipment

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Previous experience as a service technician
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of lawnmower, chainsaw and brush cutter maintenance and repair techniques
• Certification in lawnmower, chainsaw and brush cutter repair (advantageous)
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks as needed
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills and customer service abilities
• Ability to function in a team environment
• Honest and reliable
• Hard working and diligent
