REQUIREMENTS:
The equivalent of a high school diploma along with a National Diploma (NQF 6) in Office Management and Technology, Public Management, or Management Assistant is required.
1-2 years of relevant experience working in the environment of TVET Administration
A working knowledge of office administration, as well as of the laws and policies governing the public service sector.
A familiarity with the PSET A comprehension of the TVET Administration’s policies and procedures Knowledge of the Higher Education Sector Knowledge of Corporate Governance and any
Other Relevant Legislation Knowledge of the Higher Education Sector Skills in organizing and planning, writing reports, and giving presentations
Literacy in communication and interpersonal relations as well as computer applications (including Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) Code EB/C1 Valid drivers’ license.
DUTIES:
Offer administrative support services to the management of the campus as well as the students.
Create a campus enrollment plan for both report 191 and NCV at the same time.
Create documents such as reports and presentations, in addition to other types of correspondence.
Coordinate the holding of meetings, conferences, workshops, and any other campus-related events.
Campus Management should be provided with secretarial services. Forms for taking leave need to be coordinated and turned in to the central office.
Documents for PMDS and IQMS need to be coordinated and turned in to the central office. Maintain the staff attendance register, coordinate the compilation of duty registers, and oversee payment for part-time lectures.
Maintain oversight of the process for student registration and testing
Coordinate part time claims coordinate EHW programmes
Ensure that the Campus’s procurement services (including requisitions, receiving of goods, stock control, and asset management) are being properly managed.
Manage the procedures for registering students and administering exams:
– Keep student records, student portfolios of evidence, and student files.
– Information about the students should be recorded and checked.
– Compare the documentation that was provided with the goods and services to ensure that everything is accurate.
– Ensure that you have an organized filing system.
– Keep records for everyone working on campus.
– Arrangement of all pertinent documentation in accordance with the requirements of the QMS and the national archive act.
