POSITION OVERVIEW
The objective of this position is to guarantee and uphold an efficient service, which entails adhering to the cash register protocol and accurately processing transactions, hence enhancing customer happiness and fostering the ongoing growth of the firm.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Welcome customers upon their arrival at the store.
- Adhere to the cash reconciliation protocol.
- Verify cash received from the consumer
- Facilitate EFT transactions
- Guarantee that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently on the registers.
- Consolidate purchased stuff into shopping bags.
- Submit monetary deposits to a superior for security purposes.
- Conduct daily cash reconciliations
- Remain vigilant for customers exhibiting questionable behavior.
- Remain cognizant of all promotional merchandise available for purchase.
- Distribute gift cards, verify client reward cards, and redeem points.
- Accountable for the maintenance of the work area
- Engage in continuous inventory assessments
- Execute any work-related assignments as assigned by a superior.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matriculation or Equivalent
- One year of experience in a comparable position
- Brights Induction (service excellence)
- Unblemished credit score
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Consciousness and Alertness
- Capacity to manage stress
- Mathematical proficiency Capacity to collaborate in a team and operate autonomously with limited oversight
- Outstanding organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in multitasking.
- Prepared to work flexible hours and holidays to accommodate business requirements.
