Description of the Job
The Manufacturing and Technical department at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is currently offering a variety of exciting professional opportunities.
At the various regions that make up the CCBSA, we are looking for young people who are talented and interested in participating in our Packaging Learnership programs.
The candidate who is selected for the position will be responsible for reporting directly to the Training Controller.
THE MOST IMPORTANT GOAL
Through the provision of recognition, additional mobility, and portability within the field of beverage manufacturing and the environment of fast-moving consumer goods, this qualification will contribute to the complete development of the learner within the context of the food and beverage packaging environment.
The National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging National Qualifications Framework Level 3 Learnership will be completed by the learners.
Principal Responsibilities
ASSISTANCE IN LEARNING:
The following will be given to the learner:
Procedures and processes involved in bottling
the standards for both safety and housekeeping
Tests and specifications for quality assurance
The procedures for handling food
IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS
Motivated by oneself
Paying close attention to detail Capability to work effectively in groups
Capacity to collaborate successfully within groups
Qualifications in terms of education, experience, and knowledge
Mathematics (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and Physical Sciences were both passed with a score of forty percent in Matric.
With a score of forty percent, passed two South African languages.
It is required that the candidate will not have previously completed the same qualification or learnership at another company or organization.
EXTRA REQUIREMENTS TO MEET
Applicants must be citizens of South Africa.
Required to be a candidate for employment equity
At the time of appointment, the candidate must have been without a job.
The candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to attend a learnership program for a period of one year.
In general
This learnership is for a period of one year, and in order to qualify for the Qualification, a learner must obtain a minimum value of 120 credits.
The duration of this learnership is one year.
