Position Overview
The ADvTECH Schools Division is at the forefront of the private education sector, making significant contributions to the sustainable development of human capital in South Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for executing a range of tasks as necessitated by the role of a Driver.
- Tasked with executing various duties as needed.
- Comprehensive cleansing, housekeeping, and fundamental maintenance of vehicles.
- To maintain the bus, ensure it is thoroughly cleaned, refueled, and that all daily checklist requirements are completed.
Required Competencies:
- Exceptional visual acuity;
- Consistently punctual;
- Must exhibit helpfulness, energy, responsibility, and reliability;
- Must be willing to work overtime;
- Capable of effective communication with both students and staff;
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and trustworthiness;
- Able to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
Qualifications:
- The minimum qualifications required include a Grade 12 certificate (Matric),
- A legitimate driver’s license (Code EB),
- A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Proficiency in the English language is required.
Experience:
- A minimum of three years of pertinent experience in a comparable role within a similar environment is required.
