Job Description

This position will be situated at a site in Postmasburg in the Northern Cape.

Job Purpose

The reason for this position is to persistently monitor all process boundaries to guarantee protected and powerful activity of the production plant according to operating strategies and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Control and monitor all process equipment through data got from the Scada System
• Act instantly on process defects as demonstrated by the Scada System
• Recognize and report any possibly unsafe circumstances
• Coordinating Process Operators and Attendants on the shift to act expeditiously on process surrenders
• Report strange and surprising circumstances right away
• Monitor and record process parameters like flows, pressures, levels, and temperatures to guarantee effective operation.
• Cooperate and speak with all Process and Engineering staff
• On instruction get down on suitable maintenance staff
• Complete creation log-sheets
• Perform general housekeeping obligations
• SHEQ awareness and management
• KPI control and management for significant levels

Qualification Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Maths and Science
• National Certificate Mineral Processing Level 2 or equivalent Minerals Processing qualification

Experience and Abilities Requirements:

• Least 3 years’ insight as a Process Operator
• DMS Plant insight
• English language capability
• Computer literate
• Skillful with Scada system
• Capacity to perform multiple tasks and focus on
• Phenomenal communication and time usage abilities
