REQUIREMENTS:

Matric required : Students to major in either Accounting or Maths, or an equivalent.
Experience ranging from 0 to 6 months is required.

Understanding:

The Unemployment Insurance Act, the Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act, the Public Service Regulation, the Public Service Act, the principles of Batho Pele, the policies and procedures of the department, and client care are all examples of legislation.

Abilities:

Communication (both verbal and written), listening, computer literacy, communication with customers, and decision making are all important skills.

JOB DUTIES:

In accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), be sure to collect and evaluate each and every UI Claim that is submitted on the relevant system.
The declarations of employees should be verified in accordance with the relevant prescripts, and all employers should be registered.

Ensure that all claims that have been approved are paid out in accordance with the time frames that have been established.
Take care of any questions that pertain to any of the claims that have been processed, as well as any other concerns that are associated with the processing of claims.
Participate in the section’s administrative responsibilities.
