Description of the Job

For their Malvern Store, Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a Cosmetics Consultant who is dedicated to providing excellent customer service through their services.
Through providing outstanding and consistent service to customers, you will be tasked with the responsibility of effectively promoting and selling cosmetic and beauty products manufactured by Dis-Chem.

Prerequisites:

Matriculation or the 12th grade
Experience working in retail as a sales sales consultant
capable of using computers
capable of working retail hours and willing to do so

Favorable in that:

Experience with cosmetics, fragrances, and/or beauty products

Description of the Job:

Bring the manager’s attention to a customer complaint that is both serious and unresolved.
A high level of care and service should be provided to the customer.
Products can be demonstrated through activities such as makeovers, demonstrations of cosmetics, spray promotions, and/or activities.
Manage stock levels in accordance with the procedures established by Dis-Chem; report to the manager any instances of short, damaged, or expired stock.
Make sure that the displays and merchandising are set up in an appealing manner.

Obtain the highest possible store income by achieving sales in each department, brand, and vendor.
Ensure that you are up to date on the latest products, brands, and the retail industry.
Assume full responsibility for all promotions pertaining to beauty houses, fragrances, and cosmetics.
Organize appointments at the salon.
Dis-Chem’s policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, and health and safety rules and regulations must be followed.

Competencies

Strong command of the English language, both orally and in writing
Play well with others.
Deliver outstanding service to your customers.
Comprehend the stock reports and sales (including the calculations for targets and commissions).
Take action in accordance with a task schedule.

Favorable in that:

Product knowledge, promotions, personal selling, sales targets, and customer liaison are all important aspects of sales.
Previous training in sales and promotions, management of damaged and expired inventory, and ensuring that stock is rotated regularly
Management of stock in both languages

Provisions of employment that are not standard:

Capable of working retail hours and willing to do so
A valid driver’s license and one’s own transportation that is dependable
Citizen of South Africa nation
Having a clean criminal record and credit file
