What the job entails
The Corkwood Square store of Dis-Chem needs skilled Casual Cashiers.
The goal of this job is to help with customer service at the point of sale and make sure that shoppers have a world-class experience.
Record customer activities on the Dis-Chem operating system according to company policies and standard operating procedures.
There can be no mistakes, and the risk of fraud must be eliminated.
Minimum requirements:
Matric or Grade 12
At least 6 months of experience working as a cashier or running a till.
MS Office computer skills
Math skills that are solid
Strong English skills Basic customer service skills
willing to work store hours and able to do so
What the job is:
Follow Dis-Chem’s rules and standards for customer service.
Set up a business relationship with your customers.
Tell the Frontline Supervisor or the store manager about customer complaints and praise.
Follow the hourly rate for customer change
Know what sales and deals are going on.
Make sure your coworkers and customers are not at risk.
Follow and handle the Dis-Chem 5 Star Communication Principles
Be in charge of cash flow.
Make sure that the manager signs off on all line voids and price changes.
Customers can exchange items and return items when they are given permission to do so.
Handle all sales and payments, including cash, bank cards, rebates, coupons, and other forms of payment that Dis-Chem accepts.
Process all reward cards, including those from our accelerator partners (Discovery Health Care, Medihelp Lifestage, Momentum Multiply, Legacy Lifestyle, ABSA Rewards, and eBucks).
Make sure cash is put in the drop safe according to Dis-Chem’s standard operating procedures. Make sure that only you can use your code and password, that it is safe, and that it is changed often.
Make sure all stock, items, and scripts that are going out are scanned and paid for.
Make sure all money is kept safe and secure in the till.
Don’t talk about daily earnings with anyone but management.
Be aware, watch for strange behavior, and tell management about it
Answer questions about the store’s goods
Follow Dis-Chem’s policies and processes for security.

What the job entails
Dis-Chem Pharmacies needs a Cleaner with a lot of experience for their store in Corkwood Square. By Dis-Chem’s health standards, it will be up to you to keep the store clean and tidy.
There will be a store floor, a stock room, a pharmacy, an administration office, and a cafe.
Minimum requirements:
Matric or Grade 12
At least 6 months of experience cleaning
Basic customer service means having a good grasp of the English language.
More language that is specific to the area

What the job is:
Before the store opens each day, make sure that the whole store, including the shop floor and common areas, is clean and well-kept.
Set up routines to make sure that all parts of the store are kept clean to a high standard.
Make sure the kitchen and bathrooms are always clean and have everything they need.
Be ready to clean up whenever it’s needed during business hours.
Make sure the right cleaning supplies and tools are used for each job.
When you clean the floor, make sure the “wet floor” sign is up and can be seen from both ends.
Be friendly, do your job well, and know how to help people.
Follow Health and Safety Regulations when doing your job.
