Job Description
Europcar, a major rental company for commercial vehicles, is looking for honest, reliable, and highly responsible people with relevant driving experience to fill the role of Driver/Cleaner at our Nelspruit branch.
Position Overview
It is the job of this person to help the office reach its financial and customer service goals by making sure that every renter drives a car that is clean and up to our high standards of quality, and by providing quick and helpful customer service.
Duties
- Cleaning the inside and outside of the car to our high standards.
- Quality control of vehicles, which includes finding and reporting cars with expired license plates and any other problem that doesn’t meet our quality standards.
- After every hire, refueling the cars and checking the oil, water, and other fluids and tire pressure.
- delivering cars to customers in a way that follows our rules.
- Checking in vehicles in line with company, quality control, and claims policies.
- Making sure the yard and other places around it stay clean.
- Protecting the assets and interests of both the business and our customers and taking care of the company’s reputation by acting in an honest way.
- Doing other tasks when asked.
Skills and Work Experience
- A valid Code 8 driver’s license that hasn’t been revoked and is at least 2 years old.
- Able to use computers (a simple level is enough)
- Must be fully bilingual and be able to talk to people clearly in English.
- Know how to read a map.

- Good communication skills (able to read and write and speak English easily)
- Good people skills to help with good face-to-face customer relations.
- Must be able to work under pressure and manage their time well, showing that they are dedicated and have a sense of urgency.
