Job Description
Motor Spares Stop is looking for a Driver to join the group in Wynberg. The motivation behind this job is to guarantee a safe delivery of merchandise to and from and guaranteeing that all procedures are followed accordingly.
Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Minimum of 3 years delivery experience
• Legitimate driver permit, with PDP- Essential
• Great time usage abilities Essential
• Great relational abilities
• Capacity to work under pressure
• Show Intergity and honesty
• Sober habits
• Clear criminal record
Key Performance Indicators:
• Assessing of the vehicle pre-depature and return
• Inspection records to be given back to Dispatch Supervisor every Monday to sign off before another assessment rundown will be given.
• Any mistakes on the vehicle should be accounted for before the vehicle can leave the premises.
• Checking packages along with supervisor before loading into the vehicle always stick to the New Dispatch Loading procedure.
• Delivering the parcels to the clients on your assigned course according to course timetable and outing sheet.
• Guarantee client adherence to the POD procedure.
• Adhere to the RFC procedures.
• Delivering all documents and collection slips that are designated to your outing sheet and receive POD.
• Sign outing sheets in at the POD clerk and guarantee that all documents that were assigned to your name is complete and received back the next day.
• Exceptional outing sheets will be your obligation and you will be expected to take responsibility for any cases on No POD queries.
• No stock transfers between client shops.
• Maintaining and cleaning of the vehicle, announcing any issues on the vehicle quickly to the dispatch supervisor
• Report any issues experienced in regards to deliveries or POD’s to the dispatch supervisor.
