Fuel Attendant Vacancy

Annual Salary : R133,505.67 – R180,924.49
Addo Elephant National Park is the location.

There is currently a challenging and permanent position available in the Addo Elephant National Park, which is based at Addo Main Camp.
The candidate will be responsible for performing the duties of a Fuel Attendant on a daily basis, including on weekends and public holidays.

The prerequisites

Matric.
A minimum of seven to twelve months of experience working as a Fuel Attendant.
A familiarity with occupational health and safety practices.
A familiarity with the principles of customer service.
Having a fundamental understanding of accounting and mathematics is absolutely necessary.
You absolutely need to have previous experience handling cash.
The ability to communicate effectively, listen attentively, and interact with others is absolutely necessary.

The ability to communicate fluently in English as well as two other area languages.

Duties and obligations

Providing a general service at the gas station, which includes filling vehicles with fuel and oil and accepting payments for all transactions taking place at the station.
Making sure that the readings from the fuel pump are consistent with the actual sales for the day and taking readings from the fuel pump every day.

Making certain that the safety precautions at the gas station are always followed and that they are in accordance with the laws that are applicable.
Carry out fundamental responsibilities, such as maintaining a clean and sanitary environment by performing routine cleaning of the gas station and the areas surrounding it.

Control on a daily basis over the levels of fuel and oil stock
when there is a low level of fuel, placing an order for fuel in accordance with the procurement protocol.
The ability to serve customers in a manner that is courteous and attentive, as well as to avoid making mistakes by remembering the requirements of the customers.

The verification of signatures on manual coupons, in addition to the ensuring that calculations are accurate.
In addition to recording in reports, documents, and cash-up documentation, there is also the process of checking for correctness, faults, or problems in the machinery and equipment.
