Purpose of the Job
To perform all driving duties and to look after any breakdowns that may occur.
Principal Areas of Responsibility
I am responsible for collecting and delivering spares and mail, as well as delivering vehicles to various departments and posting signs for spares.
In the workshop, moving, shunting, and parking vehicles into locations that have been designated for them.
The operation of a vehicle that has broken down and the determination of whether or not the vehicle should be driven after being towed into a workshop.
The process of accurately and promptly diagnosing issues that have arisen from drivers’ reports.
The process of manually breaking and fitting tires and assembling them.
Ensuring that the cleanliness of the ancillary vehicles is maintained.
Maintaining clear communication with customers through the use of a two-way radio.
Working at breakdown sites and filling out job cards.
It is his or her responsibility to ensure that the tools and equipment under his or her control are stored securely and used appropriately.
Performs work in a secure manner and abides by all of the safety regulations.

Requirements That Are Important
10th grade or its equivalent, or the National Technical Certificate.
A valid driver’s license for motor vehicles (Code EC) in addition to the PRDP.
Six months of experience that is relevant.
Requirements that are Preferred
Matric (National Qualifications Framework Level 4) or its equivalent or NTC3;
One year of experience that is relevant
