Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join their mining operation in Gauteng. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to the efficiency and safety of mining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and machinery used in mining operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members on projects to enhance system functionality
- Assist with the upgrading of electrical systems and equipment
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Electrician Trade Test Certificate
- 3 – 5 years’ experience as a qualified Electrician within the mining industry.
- 3 years’ experience in Coal Mining.
- Medium voltage switching
- Knowledge on hydraulics and pneumatics
- Valid Driver’s License
