Engineering Learnership Requirements :

Grade 12 Maths (not lit) & Science with a Minimum E symbol, with the two N2 trade related subjects
Or
Minimum N2 with relevant 4 trade related subjects
Trade theory in the relevant trade applied for:

1. Diesel Mechanic (Maths, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Diesel or Motor Trade Theory)
2. Fitter (Maths, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Fitting & Machining Theory)
3. Boilermaker (Maths, Engineering Science, Plating and Structural Steel Drawing, Plater Trade Theory)
4. Electrician (Maths, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade Theory)

Minimum Symbol E (40%) (subjects with F symbols will not be accepted)
Up-and-comers should be capable and ready to go through a psychometric evaluation
Should be capable and ready to work shifts, reserve and call outs when required
Have the option to adapt to pressure, be imaginative and a self-starter
Have the option to distinguish shortcomings without management

A substantial K53 commonplace driver’s permit
Should be under lock and key or ready to get a declaration of wellness
