General Worker Job Description

Carries out a variety of duties and requires the least amount of initial instruction.

General Worker Requirements

Grade 12 or NQF4
Stock loading and unloading; maintaining a clean and orderly environment in the store
Stock control
Client service
Capable of engaging in strenuous manual labor
Constantly contributing something of value to the operation of the job’s function

General Worker Duties and responsibilities

Responsible for general tidiness
Duties related to cleaning
Ad hoc tasks that are assigned on an as-needed basis
Provide assistance to customers and suppliers with the loading and unloading of stock in accordance with established policies and procedures
Upkeep and sanitation of the premises generally
Assistance to customers
