Generic Requirement
- Applicant must demonstrate that they are capable of performing the specific functions associated with the post.
- Additionally, they must possess a Senior Certificate (Grade 12) that does not include a salary level 2 (PSA).

Core Functions
- is to ensure that a high level of hygiene is maintained in and around the premises of the DPCI, where routine tasks are to be performed.
- These tasks may involve either inner characteristics or outer parameters.
- Performing routine tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture and floors, and removing refuse bags; mopping all tilled flooring; cleaning bathrooms, kitchenware, and utensils; and making sure that a variety of cleaning materials are stored safely and handled appropriately.
General:
- The only form that will be accepted is the official application form, which is for salary level 2-12. This form will be available at all South African Police Service (SAPS) offices and stations, and it can also be downloaded from the SAPS website. It is imperative that each and every instruction that is included on the application form be followed perfectly; failure to do so may result in the application being rejected.

- In order to fulfill the requirements of the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA), it is the responsibility of the applicant to have their foreign qualifications evaluated.
- The applicants will be required to undergo a processing of their fingerprints.
- People who have retired from the Public Service by accepting a severance package, retiring early, or retiring for medical reasons are not eligible for this opportunity. Additionally, individuals who have been convicted in the past are not eligible.

- In accordance with the Criminal Law (Forensic Procedures) Amendment Act, Act 37 of 2013, it is mandatory for all newly appointed members of the South African Police Service to provide a buccal sample, which is a sample taken from the inside of the cheek, in order to determine their forensic DNA profile. This requirement becomes effective on January 31, 2015. It is planned to load the forensic DNA profile that was derived from the sample into the Elimination Index of the National Forensic DNA Database.
