Responsibilities
The team will benefit from your leadership, direction, and supervision if you demonstrate these qualities.
Train the members of the team in various selling strategies, product knowledge, operational standards, customer service standards, and visual merchandising standards, and act as a mentor to them.
Ensure that the store is manned in accordance with the staffing schedules that have been agreed upon, taking into account the needs of the business.
Make the experience warm and inviting, as well as inspirational and personalized for each and every consumer.
Motivating and inspiring team members to accomplish sales targets will help drive sales and turnover.
A beautiful shopping environment can be created by adhering to certain visual merchandising principles.
Maintain a clean, neat, and tidy sales floor that is fully stocked with products.
Ensure that stock levels, stock losses, and shrinkage are effectively managed. Ensure that all products are priced correctly with relevant Price stickers and/or signage.
Ensure that stock take and cycle count variance reports are checked, variances are investigated, and stock shortages or unbalanced stock information is escalated to the Area Manager.
Ensure that the processes for point of sale and banking are followed, and bring any areas of concern to the attention of the Area Manager.
Ensure that all store rules, standards, and operating procedures are being followed effectively Carry out all of the store’s operational duties in an efficient manner
Requirements
A matric, Grade 12 or equivalent certificate
A minimum of two years’ experience managing a modest staff inside of a retail establishment.
A keen interest in cosmetics, sales, and providing excellent service to customers
A familiarity with cosmetics and skin care goods
A focus on providing excellent service to customers
A solid work ethic and a hands-on mentality; Sound leadership skills; The ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate operational requirements
Capability to manage attendance and organize shifts for employees
Capability to organize and prioritize one’s work
Competence in using email and Excel at a fundamental level
Competence in verbal and nonverbal exchanges
Capacity to maintain composure and a pleasant attitude in high-stakes situations
Possession of the ability to stand for extended periods of time Possession of the ability to exhibit and promote products
The capacity to generate excitement and excitement among clients in your store, which will drive your staff and encourage them to return and buy more.
