A Synopsis of the Job Advertisement
Rand Water is looking for a candidate who can assist in the use of a variety of horticultural equipment, including but not limited to:
Ploughing, mowing lawns, bailing and raking grass, fertilizing lawns, watering trees, and traveling equipment.
It will be necessary for this tractor driver to travel to the location on his own in order to carry out the work that was described earlier.
The expectation is that he will work without supervision.
Certain Minimum Prerequisites
The NQF level 4 or Matric.
A driver’s license with the code 08 and the ability to pass the K53 drivers test administered by Rand Water.
I have two years of experience working with a wide variety of agricultural and horticultural implements as well as tractor-drawn machinery.
Having worked with tractors for three years.
Able to pass the Rw K53 examination.
Primary Obligations
A sweeping, loading, and weeding operation
Implementing the use of fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers
Utilization of specialized horticultural machinery, such as brush cutters and lawnmowers
Common cleaning duties
Traveling to the location in order to carry out work on one’s own
When there is no available tractor work, you should take on the role of Senior Gardener.
Acquiring knowledge
A fundamental understanding of firefighting techniques.
A fundamental understanding of first aid.
The fundamentals of SHE knowledge on all functions related to it.
