For the aforementioned position, which will be based in the Packaging Department at the Gqeberha Secondary Production Plant, applications are being solicited.
The Production Controller will be the one to whom the successful applicant will report.
The following are examples of key performance areas, but the list is not exhaustive:
For the purpose of assisting with general duties, cleaning floors, and taking care of company assets in and around the Warehouse Department at all times.
One of the expectations placed on an employee is that they will take reasonable instruction from a competent authority at the appropriate time and in the appropriate manner.
The completion of all tasks that are fair and reasonable in order to guarantee the effectiveness of Heineken’s operations
It is expected of the person who holds the position that they will be flexible in order to accommodate the demands of the operational requirements.
Notify the Controller of any waste or breakages that have occurred.
Make suggestions to Management regarding any enhancements that could save the company either time or money. Contribute to the pursuit of quality.
Make a contribution to the efforts that are being made to ensure that the team is as productive as possible.
It is important to take part in meetings, mini-business activities, and MDTs in order to guarantee the best possible teamwork and performance.
When it is necessary, assist in conducting a stock take.
Respect the health and safety regulations set forth by the company.
Take part in the Loss and Waste exercise for the area, and determine the losses and waste that occur in your own area.
The following experience and skills are required :
Grade 12 or other qualifications that are pertinent
If you have one to two years of experience working as a General Worker, having product knowledge would be beneficial.
knowledge and experience working as a General Worker in a warehouse or other environment that is comparable.
A person must be in good physical health and strong enough to perform strenuous duties on occasion.
They must also have the ability to take action on their own initiative without being prompted to do so.
They must also be able to work well under pressure and in a group setting.
In the event that it is requested, you must be willing to work other shifts, including night shifts, overtime, and weekends.
In order to demonstrate to coworkers, supervisors, and the company values that good corporate governance is being practiced
It is expected that the candidate will be familiar with safe working procedures.
