The Office of the Deputy National Commissioner for Policing is located in the center (Pretoria)
ADMINISTRATION CLERK REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants have to demonstrate that they are competent in the post’s core responsibilities in order to be considered.
Have a Senior Certificate (Grade 12) that is recorded on the National Learner Record Database at a NQF level 4 or higher.
A native speaker of at least two of the official languages is required, with English being one of those languages;
Obtain your citizenship in South Africa.
Must have no previous criminal / departmental convictions or criminal / departmental cases pending.
A screening process, which will include both a security check and a fingerprint verification, will be administered to all applicants who wish to be considered.
Must have no criminal record or pending criminal / departmental cases. A degree or diploma related to the post’s subject matter will be considered an asset.
An advantage will be provided to the candidate who possesses relevant coursework in the field of the post as well as a valid driver’s license for at least a light motor vehicle.
Must be willing to work hard despite the stress and the long hours.
ADMINISTRATION CLERK DUTIES :
Administrative support functions and ADMINISTER logistical issues as part of your duties.
Keep attendance records, registers, and file folders organized.
Attend to and triage each and every call that is placed to the office of the Section.
In addition to typing up reports, letters, minutes, and agendas, handling confidential documents, keeping a record of the minutes, and monitoring the flow of documents into the office of the Office of the Deputy National Commissioner:
Policing are some of the responsibilities of this position.
Maintain communication with other sections and components regarding issues pertaining to the office of the Deputy National Commissioner for Policing.
Keep an organized system of record keeping, filing, and bringing things forward.
Operate standard equipment (fax, photocopy machine, telephone, computer etc.).
2. GENERAL WORKER

SALARY:
R107 196 for the entire year (Level 02)

GENERAL WORKER REQUIREMENTS:
A qualification equivalent to the 10th grade will be considered advantageous.
Literacy, numeracy, and communication are three fundamental skills.
Read and write well is a necessary skill.
The capability of operating simple machines and equipment.
Willing to put in extra hours of work when they are required.
GENERAL WORKER DUTIES:
The upkeep of a high level of hygiene within and all around the SAPS premises where routine tasks are to be carried out, which may include either the interior or exterior of a given parameter.
Taking care of routine responsibilities such as dusting furniture and floors and removing garbage bags, among other things.
The sweeping and mopping of all tiled floors.
Keeping the kitchen, the bathrooms, and the utensils clean.
Storing and working with a wide variety of cleaning supplies in a secure manner
