Description of the Job Purpose of the Job:

To provide technical and diagnostic services in order to finish work in a timely and accurate manner through the execution of predefined work objectives in accordance with agreed-upon standard operating procedures.

Particular Duties and Obligations of One’s Role

Determine and implement known solutions to operational problems, and then escalate any issues that are not resolved.
Deliver on the performance targets that have been agreed upon in accordance with the procedures that have been established and the service level agreement.
Report on the activities of transactions in order to provide information that is both timely and useful for decision making in the area of accountability.

Carry out work in a manner that is in accordance with governance and compliance procedures.
To avoid incurring financial losses, it is necessary to carry out work activities in an effective and efficient manner.
Carry out the work activities to an adequate level in order to please both internal and external customers.

Participate in training initiatives to increase the quality of one’s work and improve one’s own skills.
To facilitate learning, offer support to the technician who has been assigned to you.
Receive development training and interventions in accordance with the training logbook and the planned training program.

Qualifications, as well as Previous Work Experience

National Senior Certificate (Matric) with a concentration in pure Mathematics and Physical science
Level 4 National Qualifications Framework Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates
1 year of experience working in an equivalent setting is required.
A driver’s license that is current and valid in South Africa
