Responsibilities
To provide a professional, efficient, and effective service to support the general functioning of the business.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
- Welcome and greet customers.
- Informing customers about sales, promotions, and policies.
- Recommend and display the items to the customers according to their taste and style.
- Maintain the quality of services provided to the customers.
- Maintain friendly and good relations with the customers.
- Manage point-of-sale processes.
- Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments.
- Keep up to date with product information.
- Accurately describe product features and benefits.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Deal with complaints in a patient and helpful manner.
- Provide information and other services such as handling returns of merchandise.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain a fully stocked store.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the store.
- Receiving, unpacking, and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors.
- Arranging and labeling goods in the display shelves.
- Pricing, labeling, and barcoding when needed.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven working experience in retail sales.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Commercial awareness.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service focus.
- Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality.
- Basic administration skills.
- Good physical endurance.
- Own transport to the store is required.
