Job Description

Swipe iX is actively seeking an enthusiastic, diligent, and highly skilled Lead Project Manager to lead complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and Agile best practices. If you’re a proactive leader with a strong track record in project execution, risk management, and team coordination, we’d love to hear from you!

Key responsibilities include:

• Project Management: Plan, execute, and close projects while ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget. Collaborate with teams to meet milestones and deliver high-quality results.
• Agile Leadership: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, and sprint planning. Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and process optimization.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, leadership, and cross-functional teams. Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and key decisions.
• Risk & Resource Management: Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Optimize resource allocation to balance workload and efficiency.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Oversee testing phases to ensure high standards and smooth deployments. Work closely with QA teams to address defects and validate functionality.
• Release & Deployment: Plan and coordinate releases while ensuring system stability. Monitor post-launch performance and address issues promptly.
• Budget & Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report financial status. Ensure accurate forecasting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or NQF 7 in a Business management or IT management related field
• 8+ years of project management experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
•  Proven success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.).
• PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification (preferred).
