Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Help with cleaning/sterilization errands, for example draining/cleaning of vessels/pipes, unblocking of lines, and so forth.
• Upgrade packing machine run times by reporting downtime because of drum shortages, breakdowns, and so forth.
• Expected to quickly report all downtime to the Group Leader.
• Guarantee great housekeeping principles are kept up with in areas of responsibility.
• Respond to instructions received from the Group Leader.
• Report all significant equipment breakdowns or deviations to the Group Leader.
• Help to continue packaging lines in a spotless and safe condition.
• Stick to quality principles as determined by the Plant operator/Group Leader.
• Help The executives with critical tasks.
• Expected to report all non-conformance issues, for example spillages, off spec item, packaging issues, and so on to the Group Leader.
• Guarantee right amount/sort of packing material is gathered from the Stores and sign appropriate space on relevant job cards.
• Stick to production packing targets as determined by the Group Leader.
• Expected to adjust to relevant SHEQ rules and guidelines according to company policy.
• Expected to work in other workspaces as coordinated by the Group Leader/Production Manager.
• Every so often expected to do various legitimate ad hoc tasks for which the officeholder is competent as instructed by the Group Leader.
• To partake and help maintain SHEQ Management system certificate/guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12.
• Able to drive a forklift, be medically fit to drive a forklift and be in possession of a legitimate forklift driver’s permit.
• Minimum of 3 – 6 month’s experience in a Production and/or Packaging environment.
• Minimum of 6 months’ forklift driving experience.
• Expected to maintain medical wellness to drive a forklift in order to effectively have the forklift driver’s permit renewed.
• Essential computer skills .
• Ready to work independently as well as inside a group and have the option to perform multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Have a sound knowledge on production systems.
• Knowledge on SHEQ Management Systems procedures/requirements would be beneficial.
