Objective of the Position
To establish customer loyalty and optimize sales, we will provide professional and knowledgeable guidance on beauty and skincare products, as well as promote and effectively manage merchandise and general sanitation.

Job Objectives
- To assist customers in the selection of the most suitable products and services for their requirements, respond to inquiries regarding products, and provide guidance.
- To ensure that monthly targets are consistently met, the cosmetics department’s sales will be promoted, cross-sold, and up-sold.
- In order to oversee sales, it is necessary to consistently assess the performance of products and provide recommendations that lead to enhanced product offerings and increased sales.
- To ensure that customers are always provided with the most accurate information, it is necessary to stay informed about all cosmetic products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events.
- To ensure a high standard of general sanitation and administration, minimize shrinkage, and effectively manage all operational activities within the beauty department.
- To guarantee that all promotional standards, in-store visual merchandising, and in-store presentation within the cosmetics department are consistently met.
- To provide exceptional customer service, it is essential to act as a brand ambassador, maintain a visible presence, and provide a professional and courteous service.
- To accomplish the clubcard participation targets, it is necessary to promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new clubcard members.
- To enhance brand loyalty and profitability among customers by promoting exclusive products and private label products.
- To enable the brand to become the customer’s preferred health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting the company’s values.
Minimum requirements
Experience and Qualifications
- Essential: Grade 12
- Essential: Qualification in the field of beauty or hygiene that is pertinent
- Essential: Experience in a sales or marketing environment, retail, FMCG, cosmetics, or skincare environment
Job-Related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Comprehension and implementation of sales principles
- Experience in the retail/FMCG industry and comprehension of the principles of merchandising and promotions
