Intent and Purpose of One’s Job or Role:

Youths with any post-matric HR qualification are eligible for this internship opportunity that lasts for a period of 12 months and has the potential to be extended if certain performance requirements and standards are met.
Interns will be placed within the Learning and Development Function and will gain hands-on experience in multi-functional training administrative duties as well as training coordination.

Principal Responsibilities:

The planning, scheduling, and management of bookings for courses and training events both internal and external to the organization
Control of documents, which may include but is not restricted to the recording of training history as well as the keeping and archiving of training-related records.
Keep an accurate record keeping, archiving, and/or filing system in accordance with the OME process agreed upon.

Engagement with and support for stakeholders, including but not limited to meetings with clients and other interactions with clients
Training and administrative responsibilities with multiple functions
Learning management on SAP LSO and T@W LMS should be administered in accordance with Energy Business IM and HR Standards.
Reporting and Analytical Tools for Learning

Qualifications in the Formal Sense:

Post-secondary HR qualification in HR or Learning, such as, for example.
If you have a higher certificate, diploma, or degree in human resources or learning, that will work to your advantage.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Self-Mastery entails accepting responsibility for one’s own development and driving that development forward by increasing one’s self-awareness, reflecting, seeking feedback, and self-correcting.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.
Good planning and organising skills
Individual who is both productive and self-motivated.
Familiarity with computers and the ability to quickly pick up new software would be an asset.

In accordance with the Sasol Employment Equity plan, preference will be given to applicants hailing from designated groups.
This is a contract position for a Non-Permanent Employee that will last for a year.
As part of the candidate selection process, those individuals who have been shortlisted will be expected to complete psychometric examinations.
