Objectives of the Position
We are looking for a pharmacy sales assistant who is dedicated to the satisfaction of our customers and who works diligently to ensure that our in-store retail operations run smoothly. The duties of the pharmacy sales assistant include greeting customers, keeping an eye on customer behavior to prevent shoplifting, arranging visual displays, and processing customer refunds, among other responsibilities.
In addition to this, you should be able to determine the requirements of the customers and recommend appropriate products to fulfill those requirements.
This is a part-time position that is available for consideration.

The Goals of the Job
Taking care of payments and ensuring that sales and receipts are in correct balance in accordance with company policy.
Make sure you are aware of new products and that your knowledge of products is always up to date.
Restocking items and organizing the sales floor in accordance with standard operating procedures are both necessary tasks.
Performing price audits on a regular basis in order to identify and address any price disparities that may exist.
Processing payments from customers through the Point of Sale (POS) system utilized by the stores.
In order to provide advice and recommendations, maintaining product knowledge is essential.
Ensure that you are up to date on all of the special offers and promotions.
Standards for visual merchandising should be maintained.
Maintain a clean and orderly lifestyle.
All customer inquiries should be handled promptly, and when necessary, they should be escalated to higher management.
Credentials and qualifications
Obtaining a qualified Grade 12
A minimum of five months of experience working at a point of sale or till point in a retail setting should be required.
Experience in retail sales that has been proven.
Skill and Acquired Knowledge
fluent in using computers.
Bilingual, with a strong preference for fluency in both English and Afrikaans.
Personality that is both friendly and engaging.
able to demonstrate familiarity with various methods of payment, including cash, checks, bank cards, credit cards, coupons, and vouchers.
knowledgeable about the processes involved in receiving stock and the standards for merchandising.
A solid understanding of the principles underlying customer service.
The capability of working in an environment that is very fast-paced.
