Description of the Job

In order to ensure the safety of the plant section and the appropriate documentation, prepare the batch start-up.
Blenders are used to produce mixtures, and reactors are used to produce reaction batches.
Ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed to the letter.
It is important to ensure that the Team Leaders and Laboratory personnel receive accurate information.

During maintenance, ensure that the plant and equipment are safely isolated by following the appropriate procedures.
Put labels on all of the packaging containers and stencil the polycans.
Containers are loaded and unloaded.
It is necessary to move products into and out of storage tanks.

Check the levels of the effluent.
Organize and separate the various types of waste.
A forklift and a hoist should be operated.
Carry out thorough risk assessments.
Ensure that all safety standards are taken into consideration.

Qualities and previous work experience

Matric
Chemical Operations NQF 3
Forklift licence
At least three years of experience working in a chemical plant
