Description of the Job

Complete all of the theoretical training at the level of proficiency required by management.
You will be qualified as a Millwright once you have satisfactorily completed all of the requirements of the program.
Qualification Requirements
N2, with four (4) subjects relevant to the trade:
Engineering mathematics
Engineering science
Electrical (advantageous)
Mechanical
Mechanical
Electrical drawings
Own transport
Advantageous:
N3 qualification

Criteria for Required Experience
Although experience is not required, candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- An inquisitive mindset along with strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Capability to function in a high-pressure setting.
- Capacity for clear and effective communication.
- Capability to work effectively within a group and make a positive contribution to a high-performance setting.
- Demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter who is eager to learn and find answers to difficult problems.
- Have an interest in working with mechanical systems and be technically oriented.
- A thinker who is both analytical and logical who pays close attention to detail.
Additional preconditions include:
Obligated to work a standard 40-hour week, plus extra hours as needed
Complete all theoretical training at the level of proficiency required by management.
Principal Results
What do you have planned for the day?
During the phases of practical application, you will be working under the direction of a qualified Artisan to gain experience, convert your theoretical learning into practical understanding and application, and apply what you have learned.
The training consists of theoretical instruction (which takes place at a learning center that has been granted accreditation) and on-the-job training in the form of practical application training (which can take place during working shifts, weekends, or public holidays).
