Rachel Kolisi steps down as CEO.

Rachel Kolisi, who has served as CEO of the Kolisi Foundation since its inception in 2020, has declared her intention to resign from her position. This announcement represents a substantial change for the organization.

The foundation, which was established by Rachel and her former spouse, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, has since concentrated on critical societal issues such as food security, education, sport, and gender-based violence (GBV). Although Rachel has not yet made an official announcement regarding her resignation, the news has been met with an outpouring of support and gratitude from a variety of communities, particularly those that are dedicated to GBV issues.

The Justice Desk, a prestigious human rights non-profit organization, expressed their fond departure on Instagram with a sincere tribute.

They shared, “This morning, we had the honor of collaborating with other GBV organizations to surprise Rachel with a heartfelt farewell.”

The message was accompanied by a collection of photographs that honored Rachel.

The Justice Desk poignantly articulated their sentiments: “Her unwavering support for our work has been truly impactful.” We were disheartened to learn that she will no longer serve as the CEO of the Kolisi Foundation; however, we are confident that she will continue to accomplish remarkable feats.

They concluded by expressing their gratitude, stating, “We will miss you, and we are grateful for your assistance.” I hope your upcoming chapter is filled with success. From all of us at #JusticeDeskAfrica.
