A Synopsis of the Job Advertisement
Responsible for providing assistance to the Electrical artisan and Technicians in the following areas of work:
Project management, preventative maintenance, and ad hoc maintenance in order to meet the standards that have been specified. It is necessary to report any issues to the Section Artisan.
Certain Minimum Prerequisites
- It would be beneficial to have previous work experience in the field of electrical work,
- As well as a Grade 12 Certificate and a certificate in Electrical Engineering ranging from N3 to N6 or S4.
- A familiarity with the tools, equipment, and materials employed in the trade.
- An understanding of the fundamentals of electrical engineering.
- Capability to perform minor electrical repairs
- Physical and medical fitness
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration and safe business practices
- Possessing a driver’s license will be beneficial.
Primary Obligations
- Hand tools are being transported.
- As soon as the job is finished, it is necessary to clean up the motor control circuits (MCC) and the work areas.
- Testing of electric motors and cable joints are included.
- Collecting and distributing materials used for the project
- Assist with tasks such as assisting the electrician in general, including assisting with storage, lifting, retrieving supplies, unloading and checking deliveries, and undertaking tasks.
- For the purpose of determining the location of wiring and equipment, as well as ensuring compliance with building and safety codes, you should either prepare sketches or follow blueprints of the structure.
- In addition to conducting electrical inspections at plants and pump stations, you are required to report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Provide assistance in ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.

- The ability to perform fundamental lighting and installation tasks.
- The capacity to perform motor testing as well as cable joint.
