A Synopsis of the Job Advertisement
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the plant and property are kept in a presentable, safe, and reliable manner in accordance with the requirements set forth by Rand Water.
This includes the removal of refuse, road maintenance, and fencing, as well as general day-to-day maintenance of the plant and property.
Certain Minimum Prerequisites
Matriculation or equivalent
The acquisition of fundamental plant knowledge and safety training will be advantageous.
Primary Obligations
Sweeping, collecting building rubble with shovels, forks, and rakes, and collecting domestic garbage bins on the property are all examples of tasks that pertain to the maintenance of the station and the property.
The upkeep of roads and fencing facilities.
It is necessary to carry out excavations by digging trenches in order to carry out pipe repairs.
Contribute to the loading and unloading of building materials onto and off of trucks by physically loading and unloading items.
In addition to performing general housekeeping duties, the repair of potholes on the premises.
