Combined Personal Assistant and Receptionist
There is a reputable private legal training institution in Pretoria East (Lynnwood) that is looking for a Receptionist who is both friendly and efficient to join their team on a full-time basis.
Purpose of the Job
Both the Receptionist and the Personal Assistant will be accountable for managing the activities that take place at the front desk, providing administrative support to the executive team, and ensuring that daily operations within the institution run smoothly.
Fundamental level of education (required)
Senior Certificate of the Nationality (Matric)
The minimum amount of years of relevant experience
Extensive experience working as a personal assistant or receptionist is required.
Nature of the experience that is required
The administration of the front desk and reception
Help with administrative tasks
Assisting customers
Skills and knowledge are absolutely necessary.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) expertise is required.
The ability to communicate effectively in both Afrikaans and English, as well as strong organizational and time management skills
Both the ability to work in a team and to interact with others are essential.

Duties and obligations
Assume the role of the initial point of contact (either in person at the office or by answering the phone).
Assist with general inquiries made over the phone (provide fundamental information about instructional programs).
You will be responsible for assisting with the mailing of course materials and the distribution of certificates.
The executive team requests that you provide administrative support.
Assistance with general office tasks and office arrangements
Take on the role of a liaison to ensure that communication and collaboration are carried out well within the office.
