You will be responsible for providing high-quality client care that is in line with the overall business plan, in addition to carrying out administrative and payment responsibilities as a dental receptionist.

A position for a Dental Receptionist is currently open at the Intercare Wilgeheuwel Medical and Dental Centre, which is located in Roodepoort, Johannesburg.
The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver high-quality customer service by acting as a liaison between healthcare professionals and patients in order to streamline administrative procedures.
A BREAKDOWN OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In the area of patient care, provide telephone services that are effective, courteous, and professional.
Help patients correctly fill out the relevant paperwork, and capture all of the information in accordance with the company’s internal policies and procedures.
The person in charge of the reception-patient journey is responsible for all processes linked to the journey, including booking, arrival, and payment of patients on the applicable system.
Guide each and every consumer to the location, services, and professional who can best assist them.
Maintain strict adherence to POPIA’s requirements regarding patient confidentiality at all times.
Make sure that the area that people check in is constantly clean and organized.
In accordance with the established procedure, send all cases requiring immediate attention to the nurse’s station.
Help patients with their basic account questions and escalate any issues that require it.
You are required, in accordance with the policies and procedures of Intercare, to collect all copayments and account balances.
Carry out daily cash-up and banking procedures and be sure to stick to them.
NEEDS AND DEMANDS
The minimum qualification is a high school diploma(Matric).
Previous experience working in a setting that focuses on providing service to customers, such as a reception desk, will be very helpful.
Skilled in using computers.
Experience working with the GoodX system will be beneficial.
