THE PRIMARY ISSUE OF THE POSITION
The administration of contracts for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) Content in order to guarantee the timely delivery of contracts and compliance with the relevant legislation, regulation, and policy.
ALTERNATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and verify instructions to draft standard contracts, brief the legal department on the process of drafting non-standard contracts, and receive and verify instructions to draft standard contracts;
The efficient storage of contracts that have been fully executed in a central location.
Assistance with questions regarding contracts
The management of sign-off deadlines for contracts in order to guarantee their effectiveness
The instruction may require you to draft standard contracts in accordance with its requirements;
Whenever it may be deemed necessary, provide legal advisory services pertaining to contracts involving video entertainment activities;
The creation and upkeep of reports pertaining to contracts;
Assume the role of representing the Contract Manager in meetings both within the organization and with outside parties when necessary;
Ensure that the administrative processes for video entertainment contracts are implemented and maintained adequately;
Carrying out investigations into matters that call for the input or approval of the Contract Manager and providing recommendations accordingly;
In the event that deviations from sound business principles, practices, regulations, and policies are observed, to informing and engaging management during these instances;
When the non-standard contract is ready for signatures and has been received by the legal department in draft form, it is important to verify that it complies with all of the available documentation.
It is imperative that contracts be signed accurately.
Contracts should be loaded onto SAP CRM, and timely approval should be ensured (or any other system that is implemented).

Communication with the relevant stakeholders regarding the operational risk and compliance issues is required.
For the purpose of protecting the integrity of the organization, creating value, preventing financial loss, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and legislation, it is important to highlight risks.
Make sure that all of the policies and procedures are followed;
Ensure that clients receive effective follow-up and service by communicating with them verbally, over the phone, through e-mail, and through follow-up meetings.
Ensure that contracts are executed correctly and develop and maintain close working relationships with both internal and external clients in order to improve our relationships with all of our stakeholders and to build better relationships overall.
WHAT IS REQUIRED:
A National Diploma in Law Studies or an equivalent qualification, a qualification in Business Administration, or a qualification that is related (NQF 6)
Administration of contracts is a skill.
Capability to work independently or in a team on projects, as well as the ability to follow instructions effectively
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Well-organized with a focus on the needs of customers and a collaborative approach to work
Experience in the drafting of contracts
Understanding of applicable legislative frameworks and regulations.
