SABC is looking for the services of a Driver who will be allocated in Limpopo.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Providing effective and efficient transportation support to the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing chauffeur services for SABC’s transportation division.
- Delivery/collection by SABC staff according to schedules
- Manage and ensure maximum utilization of SABC vehicles.
- Offer our internal customers optimal customer service management at all times.
- Set up cost-effective drop-off routes to improve customer service
- Ensure clients are transported to and from venues and documents are collected/delivered safely and on time to the right address.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and reporting. Complete logbook before the trip and after the trip.
- Reserve a vehicle for the customer
- Make sure the customer gets the right car keys.
- Make sure customer details are verified before handing out the car keys
- Make a copy of driver’s license required for overtime and shift work
- Communicate with internal and external customers and stakeholders and maintain an effective, professional interface with everyone.
- Handle customer complaints or inquiries, both internal and external.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with users and service providers.
- Comply with SABC policies and procedures.
- Comply with legal requirements.
- Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and workflows
- Compliance with organization regulations
OWNERS/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric
- Driving license C1 (PDP)
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
