Position Overview

Tekkie Town presents a demanding opportunity for the role of Sales Supervisor at our Vryheid shop, where you will oversee a team of employees.
This position will report directly to the Store Manager of Tekkie Town.
The preferred candidate should reside in Vryheid or its vicinity.

Credentials

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Proficient in computer literacy and MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Expertise, Competencies, and Background
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience as a Senior Sales Assistant in the retail industry.
  • Proficient in both written and vocal English and another pertinent official South African language.
  • Robust interpersonal and sales competencies.
  • Robust logical reasoning and analytical aptitude.
  • Exhibits elevated energy levels and is motivated by performance.
  • Superb abilities in planning, organization, and time management.
  • Capability to operate autonomously, in addition to functioning effectively within a team.
  • Robust leadership and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, along with proficiency in engaging and communicating with clients.

Principal Duties

  • Enhance profitability by supporting the Store Manager in meeting monthly budgets.
  • Ensuring the store’s administration adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensuring that inventory losses remain below the benchmark.
  • The capacity to guarantee that brand standards are executed and upheld in accordance with client expectations.
  • Efficiently execute promotions, adhere to visual merchandising concepts, and uphold store standards.
  • Staying informed about the newest developments about incoming stock (unpacking process).
  • Oversee daily customer service activities, including sales processes, order management, and payment processing.
  • Oversee and inspire personnel to guarantee the achievement of daily objectives.
  • Mentor and assist both new and current Sales Associates.
  • The capacity to oversee the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
  • Ensure all personnel comply with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Store Opening and Closing Procedures.
