SHIFT LEADER REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 certificate or similar certification(Equivalent).
AEA/ECT/CCA with three years of experience in the applicable category after registering with the HPCSA in accordance with the OSD appointment requirements
Code 10 driver’s license with PRDP
Registration certificate, and current registration with the HPCSA Computer skills.
A familiarity with occupational safety and labor relations.
Experience in incident management and supervision are required.
Current compliance with the individual CPDCEUs Activity record required by the HPCSA.
An official written examination, an oral interview, and a presentation are going to be used to evaluate potential candidates.
SHIFT LEADER DUTIES:
Perform a continuous supervisory duty with regard to all operational issues in terms of the policies of the HPCSA and the Department by ensuring compliance and reporting thereon. Implementation of operational plans at the shift level helps to facilitate ongoing administration and management of human resources by ensuring control, monitoring use, and reporting deviations and deficiencies.
This ensures that all resources that are allotted to the shift are managed in an effective manner. duties related to supervision;
Responsible for performance management and the evaluation of development systems.
Contribute to the administration of overtime and time off.
Make sure that the staff responds to calls in a timely manner.
Perform an analysis of the patient assessment forms and the trips sheet, and then report any differences to the station manager.
Treat patients while also responding to scenes of mass casualties, emergencies, and disasters, where you will also provide advise and leadership.
Handle complaints coming from both outside and inside the organization.
Whenever it is necessary to do so, compile reports and undertake investigations.
Ensure that all service protocols and procedures are followed, and take on any additional responsibilities that have been delegated by management.
