Job Description
Hire Resolve is recruiting a Site Supervisor for our client, a prominent Multi-Discipline Engineering Consultancy, Service Provider, Project Manager, and Construction Contractor concentrating in the Mining, Minerals, Industrial, and Petrochemical sectors.
Principal Duties:
- Supervise and administer daily site operations, guaranteeing that all projects are finalized punctually and within financial constraints.
- Oversee site safety to guarantee adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Oversee and manage site personnel and contractors to guarantee high-quality work and compliance with timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve any on-site concerns or modifications.
- Ensure precise documentation of site activities, encompassing progress reports, timesheets, and inventory control.
- Confirm the availability of resources, equipment, and manpower to fulfill project requirements.
- Perform routine site evaluations to evaluate advancement, quality, and safety.
Specifications:
- Demonstrated expertise as a Site Supervisor in the mining, minerals, industrial, or petrochemical sectors.
- Extensive understanding of safety management protocols and construction methodologies.
- Proficient in overseeing extensive teams and orchestrating subcontractors.
- Superb leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Acquaintance with regional labor and environmental statutes.
- Capability to oversee numerous projects concurrently and perform effectively under duress.
- Proficient communication abilities and capacity to interact with varied teams.
- A valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to various locations if necessary.
- Proficiency in project management tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications pertinent to health and safety, project management, or construction management (e.g., SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, PMP) would be beneficial.
