General Store Assistant Main Objective:

To ensure the highest levels of customer service are provided, while assisting customers and achieving set goals.

General Store Assistant Job Description:

Principal Performance Areas:
Cash management
Perform cash register duties
Daily cash management and banking procedures are observed
0 cash differences are maintained
Manual transactions are recorded accurately

Stock Management
Daily stock management procedures are followed
Orders from customers are followed up on.
Weekly inventory counts are conducted precisely.
Department of the warehouse in good condition
A weekly shoe pairing exercise is performed

Customer Support
Deliver exceptional customer service
Building internal and external customer relationships
Maintain positive customer relations
Product expertise

Minimum Conditions:

Experience:
Minimum one year’s experience in retail

General Store Assistant Qualifications:

Finish Matric/Grade 12

Additional Conditions:

Cash & inventory management

Sales expertise and selling abilities
Knowledge and comprehension of cash desk, stockroom, administrative, and all other pertinent policies and procedures
