Job Description
An experienced Cleaner is needed for the Thatchfield store of Dis-Chem Pharmacies.
You will be accountable for the upkeep of a spotless and organized store in accordance with Dis-Chem’s hygienic standards.
These facilities will encompass the canteen, admin office, dispensary, stock room, and store floor.
Minimum Requirements
Must-have:
- Matric/Grade 12
- A minimum of six months of experience in the janitorial industry
- A strong command of the English language A basic understanding of customer service
- Additional language that is specific to a particular region
- Willing and capable of working retail hours

Job Specifications
- Before the store opens, ensure that the shop floor, communal areas, and store itself are maintained at a high level of sanitation and hygiene on a daily basis.
- Establish procedures to guarantee that all areas of the store are kept in pristine condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness and availability of the essential products in the canteen and facilities at all times.
- Be available to clear up as needed during the operational hours.
- Ensure that the appropriate cleaning products and equipment are utilized for the specific task at hand.
- Ensure that the damp floor sign is visible at both ends when cleaning the floor.
- Demonstrate professionalism, amiability, and the ability to provide assistance to consumers.
- Fulfill responsibilities in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations.
Proficiency
Must-have:
- Previous experience in the janitorial industry
- Good command of the English language, both in writing and speaking.

- Capable of adhering to instructions and taking action
