Credentials:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- Science/NCV4/NCV3/N3 Engineering at NQF Level 4 with 120 credits.
Relevant Minimum Experience:
- 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining distribution networks.

- Emergency preparedness and safety
- Fundamental health, safety, and environmental considerations
- Instruments and specialized apparatus
- Low and high voltage systems up to 33 kilovolts
- Construction of high voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV), and low voltage (LV) lines
- Regulations for High Voltage System Operations (RHVS)
- Certification for meter technicians
- Single-phase testing apparatus
- Crane operation
- Operation of mobile elevating platforms
- Operation of auger drill
- Operation of rock drill
Proficiency
- Public Driver’s Permit (PDP)
- Valid driver’s license categories EC/EB/C1
- Safety administration
- Fundamental workshop

Principal Duties
