Job Description

A well-spoken, energetic, and hardworking individual is required to join the sales team at RCL FOODS.
The individual must be prepared to go above and beyond to satisfy the bread demand of the consumers.

Function: Manages customer orders through personal calls, mail, or telephone.
Possesses technical expertise regarding the company’s bread.
Familiar with the order cycle, products, order quantities, and pricing of customers

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Matric, NQF level 4/5

Abilities:

  • The capacity to comprehend, write, read, and communicate in the English language.
  • Good numerical skills.

Experience:

  • Two years of relevant experience in a sales or administrative setting
  • JDE or ERP systems are advantageous.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel

General

  • Anticipated to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Proficient in communicating effectively
  • Appropriate telephone attitude
  • Advantageous prior experience in a sales office

Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate an internal sales order for buffer stock.
  • Incorporate internal sales orders into an Excel control document.
  • Incorporate internal sales orders into JDE.

Processing of orders on a daily basis

  • Contact the sales staff and customer service to place a sales order.
  • Incorporate the sales order into the Excel control document.
  • Transfer the order to the system.
  • Guarantee that the sales order from the customer to the system is precise.

Monitor Orders

  • Inquiry regarding status
  • Monitor the status of the order.

Address concerns

  • Submit notifications to production and dispatch regarding abrupt modifications to sales orders.
  • Comply with the established timelines for transmitting orders to the production/dispatch department.

Customer Service

  • Guarantee that customer interactions are conducted in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Telephone interactions, as well as customer inquiries, must be resolved promptly and effectively.

Processing in General

  • Maintain the master data of the system, including the pricing, discounts, and order document.
  • Review and reconciliation of all orders on a daily basis

KPIs

  • Accurate and timely recording of sales data
  • Daily review and recociliation of all shipments
