Job purpose:

Maximize sales by providing exceptional customer service and a WOW experience.

Key Performance Areas:

  1. Providing AMAZING customer service to give customers a WOW experience.
  2. Address each customer’s unique and individual shopping needs while always putting the customer first.
  3. Ensuring that customers receive timely and relevant service on the sales floor and by phone.
  4. Follow all basic customer service standards.
  5. Identifying customers’ needs and advising on product range, pricing, and warranties.
  6. Providing product demonstrations, explanations, and advice to customers
  7. Selling goods and, more importantly, increasing sales and services
  8. Ensuring that goods are accurately priced and displayed.
  9. Ensure that promotions are executed in a timely and planned manner.
  10. Comply with all merchandising/layout and housekeeping standards and schedules.
  11. Ensure timely preparation, implementation, and maintenance of all advertised sales promotions.
  12. Reporting on fast and slow sellers to the Store Manager
  13. Helping with stock takes and counts.
  14. Minimize stock losses
  15. Reduce expenses in the area of responsibility.
  16. Maximize sales across all areas
  17. Protect the Company’s assets in the area of responsibility.

Entry Requirement:

  1. Matric Certificate.
  2. Six months of retail experience.
  3. To work shifts, you must have your own or a reliable vehicle.

General

  1. To perform any other relevant duties requested by senior management.
  2. To complete all mandatory and service training as required.
  3. Ensuring information confidentiality.
  4. Conducting regular appraisals and personal development reviews.
  5. Be accountable for adhering to current SOPs.
  6. Support the implementation of new technologies and methods.
