Function of the Driver Position:

Ensuring that there is no interruption in the flow of business operations by securely transporting goods using a horse and trailer from one location to another.

Outputs based on Driver position:

• Obtain checklist from ABM
• Perform daily task and record discrepancies
• Obtain shift norm from CC
• Report all incident/accidents
• Continuously check vehicle for defects
• Check tonnage of cargo
• Log in to the operating system (Navis)
• Follow on-screen instructions utilizing RDT, which generates the movement of Cargo
• Acknowledge task completion at the conclusion of the instruction cycle.
• Obtain document for shift work
• Obtain checklist from ABM

Driver Experience and other relevant qualifications:

• Matric
• Code EC Driver’s license
• Internal Driver’s course for six weeks
• PrDP

Minimum Number of Years in Relevant Driver Field:

• Six to twelve months

Driver Competencies Required:

Literacy, numeracy, fundamental technical skills, procedural application, and communication are the core competencies.

Essential Characteristics:
