Description of the Learnership
The Manufacturing and Technical department of Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is now hiring for a variety of interesting positions.
CCBSA is offering possibilities for Packaging Learnerships in a number of different places around the country, and we are searching for young people with ability.
If they are chosen, the successful applicant will work directly under the Training Controller.
KEY PURPOSE OF THE LEARNERSHIP
This qualification will contribute to the full development of the learner within the environment of food and beverage packaging by providing recognition, further mobility, and portability within the field of beverage manufacturing and the environment of fast-moving consumer goods. This qualification will contribute to the full development of the learner by providing recognition, further mobility, and portability. Learners will get the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, which is a National Qualifications Framework Level 3 Learnership.
Duties and Responsibilities of Key Importance Learnership:
The following will be presented to the student:
Methods and techniques for bottling products
Observance of health and sanitation regulations
Tests and requirements pertaining to quality
Methods for processing food products
KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES
Self-motivated
Attentiveness to detail Capability of working well in groups
Capability to work productively and cooperatively in groups
Knowledge, Practical Experience, and Formal Education
LEARNERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS
A passing grade of 40% was achieved in Grade 12 with Mathematics (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and Physical Sciences.
Two South African Languages were successfully passed with 40% score each.
Must not have completed the same certification or learning program at another firm or organization in the past.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Citizenship of South Africa is required.
Candidates for Employment Equity status are required.
At the time of the appointment, the applicant must not have had a job and must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Candidates need to be willing to commit to participating in the learnership program for a full year.
General
This qualification requires that the student attain a minimum value of 120 credits in order to qualify for the qualification; the learnership lasts for a duration of one year.
