A Synopsis of the Job Advertisement

The position of Operator:
Forklift has become available.
This individual will be responsible for operating a forklift in order to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials regardless of whether they are located inside or outside the premises of the company.
Performs tasks under supervision in an environment where decisions are made openly.
Positions forks, a lifting platform, or another lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, and then transports the load to the designated area. Transports materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting devices; loads or unloads materials;

Certain Minimum Prerequisites

• Completion of the National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• Possession of a valid forklift license
• Experience of up to two years

The Obligations and Responsibilities

• Make certain that the appropriate product is loaded onto vehicles
• Ensure that the product is staged in the appropriate staging lanes
• Perform routine checks on the forklift
• Delegate housekeeping responsibilities
