Summary of a job posting
An opening has emerged for an administration clerk to carry out a restricted range of clerical tasks for functional groups, including data collection and organization, standard computations, document processing and coding, and file maintenance. In most cases, routines are set, and supervision is easily accessible.
Minimum Conditions
• Matric
• Prior experience performing all creditors’ and debtors’ duties is necessary (min 2 year)
• Financial system exposure (CS3 would be advantageous)
• Basic bookkeeping / accounting tertiary qualification
• 2 to 3 years of experience in general administration
• Computer proficient with a foundational understanding of Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent problem-solving skills Superior Excel
• Settlements
• Ability to work independently
• Good numeric skills and accuracy with att
Ability to operate independently, high level of accuracy and attention to detail in math, excellent communication skills, basic payroll and HR, purchase orders, journals, fuel recon, and interco recharges are all required.
The following are the roles and responsibilities:
• Focus on deadlines and the capacity to coordinate the numerous tasks related to the functions of creditors
• Compile and submit timesheets for payroll
• Capability to operate under pressure and fulfill deadlines
• Must be willing to put in extra time if necessary.
